This list was supposed to be a top 10, and then I really wanted #11 and #12 to be more than just an honorable mention, and I couldn’t just add one because you can’t have an odd numbered list, so here we are counting down my top 12 favorite albums of 2020.

Normally I throw honorable mentions in the mix sometime midweek to break up the odd number of albums per day, but I have so many honorable mentions, and a category that kind of runs parallel to that, so that’s what I’m leading off with this year.

This is the fun part. A lot of these songs were alluded to in some previous days discussions, and are just here as examples of those albums, so I won’t retread old topics there. I’ll just touch on the stuff that wasn’t mentioned elsewhere.
