Amber our NBRAN Foster Dog 🧡🤍

Fostering isn't always easy. You're asking a dog to trust you when you don't know everything they've been through. They have to learn a new home, new routines, new people, and new dogs, all while trying to figure out if they're finally safe. It takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love.

Amber is our fourth NBRAN foster, and I know she's going to be the hardest one to let go of. Not because she's my favorite, I honestly love every dog that has come through our home, but because of her story. Knowing where she came from, everything she's been through since entering rescue, and seeing the progress she's made since she's been with us has made this one feel different.

Watching Amber slowly build confidence, start to trust us, and show more of her personality has been so rewarding. Moments like these are exactly why we foster. The goodbye is never easy, but knowing she'll have a family of her own makes it all worth it.

Amber does have a forever family lined up, so we are enjoying the time we have left with her.
